Developed as an evolution of Rapha's Pro Team winter tights, this third-generation design is built for riding from -2°C to 5°C (28°F to 41°F). Wind-blocking front panels provide protection where it's needed most, with a PFAS-free durable water-repellent coating helping to resist wet conditions. Additional DWR treatment behind the knee provides targeted protection against road spray.
The gridded fabric structure traps warmth while drawing moisture away from the skin, helping balance insulation with moisture management during harder winter efforts. Additional Italian thermal fabric behind the knee provides extra warmth in an area exposed to cold and road spray.
A WorldTour-level chamois uses increased foam density and a reticulated structure to improve stability, moisture management and airflow, while seamless construction prioritises comfort during longer rides. The legs provide the compressive, supportive feel expected from Rapha's Pro Team collection, complemented by an ergonomic elasticated upper that allows freedom of movement on the bike.

Our staff find that Rapha generally fits true to size, but the intended fit varies by collection. Core, Classic and Brevet offer progressively more accommodating cycling fits, while Pro Team garments are deliberately close-fitting and aerodynamic. Trail and casual garments have a more relaxed cut. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort or the smaller size for a closer performance fit. Bib shorts are an exception to the sizing up rule – they're supposed to fit snugly, and sizing up can compromise the position of the pad and overall support.
